a rare type of cancer characterized by clinically recognizable metastases originating from an undetectable primary breast tissue carcinoma

axillary adenopathy (most common)

• Biopsy of the lymph node

• Breast ultrasound

• Mammography

• Breast MRI (only if ultrasound and mammography are inconclusive)

• Axillary lymph node dissection

• Mastectomy

• Chemotherapy and radiation
