Endoscopic findings
Clinical presentation
Truelove and Witts severity index for ulcerative colitis [9]
A combination of both endoscopic findings and clinical presentation
American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) ulcerative colitis activity index
Other: response to medication, disease course, and the patient's quality of life
Activity and Severity index.
