Briefly explain the concept ‘Digital twin‘
The concept is that the whole product can be represented in the digital world. It accompanies the real-world counterpart over its lifecycle. For example, operation data can be logged and used for the product functionality or future product generations. Further maintenance data can be logged, so the expected RUL of the system is always known.
