Weshalb ist sexuelle Forpflanzung a prori nicht zu erwarten? Begrüden Sie anhand der Red-Queen-Hypothese weshalb sexuelle Fortpflanzung dennoch vorteilhaft sein könnte.
Hypothese geht davon aus, dass sich konkurrierende Systeme ein Wettrennen liefern, bei dem sie immer auf der Stelle bleiben, aber laufen müssen, um diesen Gleichstand zu halten.
Bei sexueller Fortpflanzung entstehen kosten (zwei Individuen müssen sich paaren, damit das Weibchen den Nachwuchs austragen kann). Bei asexuellen Lebewesen wie z.B. viele Parasiten (z.B. Bakterien), kann sich jedes Individuum fortpflanzen und so viel mehr Nachkommen produzieren.
Ein wichtiger Vorteil von der sexuellen Fortpflanzung ist jedoch die Rekombination, wodurch neue Genkombinationen erzeugt werden können und es so Parasiten erschwert sie anzugreifen, da es immer wieder neue Umstände sind.
