“Stunde Null” heute eher problematisch
Zeitgenossen erlebten das Jahr 1945 sehr unterschiedlich, je nach Haltung in den Vorjahren
Manche sahen es als Befreiung und andere als Niederlage
Die Befreiung von der NS-Herrschaft und der Neuanfang führte zur Gründung zweier Staaten auf deutschem Boden
2 Faktoren bestimmten diese Entwicklung:
Status eines Volkes unter Besatzungsrecht
Ost-West-Konflikt
Deutschland dadurch nur geringen/keinen Einfluss
Auch die Politik der alliierten wenig planmäßig

starkes Missvertrauen
Einigten sich auf Grundsätze für Deutschlandpolitik:
Entwaffnung & Entmilitarisierung Deutschlands, Verpflichtung Reparationsleistungen, Frankreich als vierte Besatzungsmacht, gemeinsame Verwaltung Berlins, Grenzen der Besatzungszone festgelegt (4D's: Demilitarisierung, Denazifizierung, Dezentralisierung, Demokratisierung)
