Classification

Spastic cerebral palsy: spastic paresis of one or more limbs (75% of cases)

Non-spastic cerebral palsy :

• Dyskinetic: abnormal involuntary movements (choreoathetoid, dystonic)

• Ataxic: intention tremor, lack of balance and coordination
