In this photo I can see a ger. I think this photo was taken in western Mongolia. Tuvan nomads live in a ger. It is a traditional home. A ger gives both shelter and home for people. The ger is organized around a fire. In the centre of the ger there is a chimney. There are separate areas for men and women in the ger. The ger can be built up or taken down very fast. It can be carried to different places.
