A manager is someone who coordinates and supervises the work of others so that the organizations goals can be achieved
Three types of managers:
First-line managers/supervisors
Lowest level of management. Responsible for non-managers
middle managers
while not top managers, they manage the work of other amanagers, such as first-line managers
Top managers
the highest level of management. Responsible for decisions that affest the entire organization and establishing goal, strategies, and plans for the entire organization
