Take away praktikum 1
(use websites without mouse)
websites should be accessible through keyboard (required by law)
keyboard trap -> stuck somewhere -> need to use mouse (e.g. not integrated cookie banner)
keyboard shortcuts -> rare on websites
Challenges:
pressing the “tab” key multiple times to navigate through website
avoid starting from beginning on every website (forms)
arrow shortcuts
skip to “content”
selecting seats (go through every seating option) -> solution: show map with seats -> type in seat number
date picker -> date input with text (other calender could be used)
Take away praktikum 2
(using phone without seeing display)
information can not be found -> need to go over every inch of the screen
voice input is easier than read-out-loud option
designing a dialog for shopping via voice input is very complex -> decision in which order to ask information -> what info is needed -> what info can be given before hand
Take away praktikum 3
(using voice over and keyboard on websites; no screen / mouse)
semantic structure of elements: labels, hierarchie, groups -> visability needs to be semantic
information is unavailable (no voice over)
missing feedback -> i dont know if i did the right thing
changes of context (still on next button but on another page -> no info about that)
conflict between voice over and typing
voice over changes how we use keyboard (arrow keys moves between letters)
Take away praktikum 4

many steps need to be changed in order to include specific needs of other person (e.g. disability)
often not a consideration when doing customer journey from own standpoint
try to find many different ppl to get a diverse view on products and steps
Take away praktikum 5
